During a 7 Habits Signature Training I came across the following quote by Hans Selye- "A long, healthy, and happy life is the result of making contributions, of having meaningful projects that are personally exciting and contribute and bless the lives of others." 

As a leader I reflect upon this quote and ask how we can foster an environment that allows all stakeholders in our schools to feel this sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.  How can we encourage contributions from administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, students, parents, community members?  What avenues are currently in place for communication and exchange of ideas among and between these stakeholders?  How can we enhance our efforts and increase the effectiveness of the processes in place?  Are there new opportunities we should be taking advantage of?
